Our Mission

To express joy by example and to rejoice in the Lord for every new name that is written in heaven through membership to Rivers of Life Church Ministries.

Our Purpose

To greet and welcome new members to Rivers of Life Church Ministries and collect pertinent data from each new member for church records.

Our Foundational Scripture

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
– 2 Corinthians 5:17

Ministry Schedule

Quarterly on the first Saturday of scheduled month from 9:00-10:00am ET

Ministry Duties

Ministry duties include:

Provide a warm welcome to all new members and visitors
Collect pertinent data using the “New Membership” form
Submit a completed and accurate form to Pastor Swafford at the end of each Service
Must also be knowledgeable of the church’s mission and purpose
Prepared to answer “basic” questions that pertain to Rivers of Life Church Ministries
Able to direct new members to appropriate church staff when necessary

Ministry Requirements

Must be:

Born Again
A member of Rivers of Life Church Ministries that has completed New Members Orientation
Committed to serving New Member Reception Committee Ministry
