COVID-19 Suppression Plan

In response to government recommended measures, Rivers of Life Church Ministries will halt in-person service assembly for the foreseeable future. Rivers of Life will review the possibility resuming in-person assembly in the coming months. Services will be streamed and made available online.

We will be updating this page as developments continue. In the meantime, we have prepared a FAQ to answer some questions you may have.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is church service canceled?

No, church service will continue – just in a different way! While we will not be congregating in-person, we will be conducting services remotely and using our streaming service to connect with you.

Will Bible Study be canceled?

As with the Sunday service, Wednesday Night Bible Study will continue and be conducted remotely. You will be able to watch bible study by using one of our streaming options.

How long will services be held remotely?

Services will be online only until further notice. Reopening efforts will begin based on guidance from the government and CDC. We are also collecting vaccination updates from members.

Will the church office be open during this suppression period?

Yes, the church office will remain open with essential staff only. If a stay at home order is issued for the state of Florida, the office will be closed accordingly. However, the church phone lines will be answered remotely and staff will be available to answer your questions.

Will ministry meetings and gatherings be held at the church during this suppression period?

No. Ministry meetings and gatherings (such as Men’s Fellowship, Women of Wisdom, choir rehearsals, etc.) will not assemble at the church during this time.

What time will services be held?

Service times will remain the same: Sundays at 10:00 AM EST and Wednesdays at 7:00 PM EST.

How can I watch the services?

You can always come here to this website! Visit the Watch Live page at 10:00 AM EST on Sundays or 7:00 PM EST on Wednesdays to watch our services. You can also watch on Facebook and YouTube using the links below.

How can I pay my tithes and/or give my offering?

We are encouraging our members to use our secure Online Giving services. Visit the Online Giving page for more information. You can also use your bank’s online banking service (if available), mail a check, or drop off your gift in person at the church during office hours.

Where can I find out more information about this coronavirus (COVID-19)?

As a church, we cannot and do not provide medical advice. However, you can ask your doctor or visit www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV for more information.

Why not just trust God and continue service as usual?

As believers, we walk in faith, not fear. But the Lord also tells us to be wise. Part of that wisdom is exercising caution and putting social distancing measures in place, as recommended. Remember that we as a body are the church, not a building. The Word will continue to go forth as we navigate this situation through faith and knowing who and Whose we are in Christ Jesus.
